Now in its 14th year, ‘Live at the Marquee’ makes its return once again this Summer to Cork – only 10 minutes from Travelodge Cork.
Highlights of the 2020 line-up include The Coronas, Nathan Carter, Tom Jones, Sinead O’Connor, Dido,Christy Moore and many more.
Since 2005, over 1.1 million tickets have been sold for this colourful music festival. Over the years the site has seen some iconic performances,

1. Rod Stewart (2009)
Rod Stewart played at the intimate Live at the Marquee Cork series in 2009. Peter Aiken of Aiken Promotions said Rod loves playing to Irish audiences.
"Rod Stewart (in the Marquee) was very special. When he walked out in Cork he said that he was in the business to play nights like that. He has a special relationship with Ireland."
2. Bob Dylan (2014)
Bob Dylan rocked fans young and old back in 2014 with his raspy husky voice where audiences enjoyed renditions of some old classics in the setlist — ‘Simple Twist of Fate’, ‘Tangled Up in Blue’, the Oscar-winning ‘Things Have Changed’ and ‘All Along the Watchtower’ for an encore.
Unusually Dylan and his band even called time for an interval during the concert – bring back the concert intervals we say!
3. Elton John (2007-2011, 2017)
Elton John and his band brought their unforgettable show four times to audiences at live at the marquee starting back in 2007. Featuring iconic hits and classic album tracks from throughout his incredible five-decade career.
Back in 2017 he said this:
“My appearance at Live at the Marquee in June will be my 4th show at that wonderful festival since July 2007. It is always a joy to play in Cork and my band and I are looking forward to enjoying what are always some of the greatest audiences on the tour.”
4. Bryan Adams (2014, 2017)
Playing his first time at Cork's Live at the Marquee back in 2014, he returned in 2017 – having taken a break from writing new music. Playing to a sold out concert for the second time, fans were treated to a perfect mixture of tracks from his latest offering and a dollop of his greatest hits covering four decades.
5. The Cranberries (2010)
Back in 2010, the Cranberries had just returned from a 7 year long awaited hiatus to play Live at the Marquee.
The late Dolores O’ Rioradan took to the stage with her powerful vocals, with the classic 'linger’ playing just four songs which boiled fans over completely. Their encore of 'Dreams' was just as popular.
