2. Seafood at Locko Waterford

Visiting a coastal town like Waterford means you have to try some of the local cuisine including the fresh seafood on offer. Located less than 10 minutes from Travelodge Waterford, Locko’s not only has some great daily specials including fresh glazed monkfish and a scrumptious sea spaghetti. They have just added a tasty seafood platter to their menu – yummy!

4. Pints at Jack Meades Bar and Beer Garden

Jack Meades is a little away from the city, but hear us out. This is one of most traditional pubs found around Waterford and is full of history and charm.  Conor our general manager in Travelodge Waterford recommends here for its Beer Garden. Nestled beneath the old stone bridge in Halfway House, and set against a background of historical buildings it’s a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city for a few hours. The pub also dates back to 1705 and has been in the present family since 1857.
