If you didn’t already know Christmas Markets are kind of a big thing.

As we all know the markets were forced to take a break last year, for the first time in 15 years, so this years’ markets already have a buzz about them.

A visit to the Belfast Christmas markets is up there with the best things to do in Belfast in winter while staying with us at Travelodge. Christmas is a time of year when many of us get to do things we enjoy or get new gifts which get us all excited for the festive season.

Some quick need-to-knows about the Belfast Christmas Market 2021:

1. Dates & Time

The Belfast Christmas Market 2021 will return from November 20th and it’ll run until December 23rd.

What are the opening hours?

Mon: Wed 10am - 8pm

Thurs: Sat 10am – 10pm

Sun: noon – 6pm

Proof of vaccination or Covid status will be required for entry during busy periods

 

2. Location

The grounds of Belfast City Hall will come alive again during the last 6 weeks of 2021 thanks to the arrival of the Belfast Christmas markets.

3. Food & Drink

The food court is home to cuisines from over 32 nationalities from across the world. Expect everything from crepes and pancakes to ostrich, wild boar, and crocodile burgers. Beer tents will also return which see a wide range of craft beers.

4. For kids

There’s a heap of things on during the Belfast Christmas Markets to keep the kids amused. Here’s a little of what you can expect:
